Ranch-style home–Louisville, KY
This ranch-style home is located in the Indian Hills neighborhood of Louisville. It was renovated with a family room addition a while ago, which was in need of an update. The homeowner also wanted to renovate the kitchen and make the flow into the great room seem more cohesive. While the home is done in a more traditional style, the client was looking for a more updated and lighter version of it.
By using a clean and classic color palette, we were able to give this traditional home a more modern feel. The kitchen was renovated first and a year later we were able to transition to the great room. It was important to give the family a kitchen island to gather around, but also a table to sit and eat and discuss everyone’s day. The beautiful fabrics we selected, as well as the wallpaper and rug, help give this space an elevated yet casual feel.
